Terms of Service
By using the services of Coastal Property Valuations (the Company), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the provision of desktop property valuation services and form a binding agreement between you and the Company.
Scope of Services
Our desktop valuations are prepared using publicly available data, comparable sales records, satellite imagery, and market analysis. They do not include a physical inspection of the property unless specifically agreed upon in writing. Our reports provide a market value estimate based on available data and professional judgement at the time of preparation.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, our valuations are estimates based on available data at the time of preparation. Coastal Property Valuations accepts no liability for decisions made based on our reports. The Company's total liability shall not exceed the fee paid for the specific valuation in question. Users should obtain independent professional advice before making financial, legal, or investment decisions.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before the delivery of any valuation report. We accept all major credit cards, bank transfers, and invoicing for approved corporate accounts. Refunds are available only if the order is cancelled before work has commenced. Once analysis has begun, partial refunds may be offered at the Company's discretion.
Revisions & Disputes
Express and Investor Pack clients receive one complimentary revision within 7 days of report delivery. Basic clients may request a revision for an additional fee. All revision requests must be submitted in writing with specific details of the concerns. The Company will review and respond within 2 business days.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect personal information only as needed to deliver our services. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties except as required by law, with your explicit consent, or as necessary to complete your valuation (e.g., accessing public property records). We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Intellectual Property
All valuation reports and materials remain the intellectual property of Coastal Property Valuations until full payment is received, at which point the client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the report for its intended purpose. Reports may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for purposes other than those stated at the time of order without prior written consent.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant state or territory.
